Anna & the Sea is the solo project of Anna Lindström. Once a wild fancy, now ready to release her debut EP “Söräng” this spring.

All tracks are written and produced by Anna Lindström and mixed by Måns Lundberg.

The result is a cinematic and dynamic sound with strong melodies and Anna’s unmistakable voice.

Originally from a small town in Sweden, Anna moved to Stockholm, getting involved early in the music scene as a singer and background singer in different bands, as a sound engineer, radio show host, music journalist, and DJ.

Secretly, she has been working on her own material, but it never felt like the right place or time to put everything together, until now.

After playing around in a friend’s studio in 2017, things started to fall into place. Anna returned to the studio with her songs, and recorded them again, but now together with a number of Swedish musicians, like Peter Morén, Ola Winkler, Nils Berg, and Fredrik Hermansson.

The debut single “Lake Como” is a first appetizer for the EP “Söräng” that will be released later this spring.

The video for “Lake Como” was shot in the Swedish countryside at a place where Anna grew up and that was once called Söräng.
